Knossos - Corridor of the Processions

The reconstructed doorway, Knossos
The reconstructed doorway, Knossos
This fresco-lined corridor depicting devotees bearing offerings was longer than it is now, possibly extending as far as the Central Court, but due to erosion of the hillside it now terminates abruptly at the southern end. The palace is now accessed via a reconstructed doorway to the left. From here one can proceed to the South Propylea.
