A powerful experience. We were alone - it was quiet, late afternoon. As we descended (without lights or candles) our eyes gradually adjusted. We went down to where we couldn´t even see the exit - there was just a faint glow on the wall which showed hints of the formations and the depths. The silence was deep, the power was strong - one of the highlights of our visit to Crete
