Chania

The Prefecture of Chania occupies the westernmost part of the island of Crete. The capital of the Prefecture is the city of Chania. It is an ideal place for both summer and winter holidays with numerous sandy and pebbled beaches, high mountain peaks, beautiful inland villages and landscapes, natural gorges and caves, a rich variety of historical monuments and sights: minoan, ancient greek, byzantine, venetian, othoman and newer.
