Aradena is 19km from Hora Sfakion on the Hora Sfakion - Anopolis - Agios Ioannis road. After Anopolis the road is new and easily accessible. You will cross the gorge of Aradena over a wooden-planked bridge. In the area, there is the abandoned village of Aradena, the Byzantine church of Michael Archangelos, and the Aradena Gorge.

At Aradena there is a very high bridge (138 meters, it is said that this bridge is the highest in Europe) where bungee jumbing is performed. There is a company (Liquid Bungee www.bungee.gr) which organises the jumps several times a year.

I was there last Sunday and although I did not jump myself, it was realy impressive to watch the people jump from this bridge. They charged 70Euros for the jump, and they give you a cd (or dvd?) with a video of your jump.
