From Eleftherna the road continues to Margarites. The village of Margarites, which is located 27km southeast of Rethimnon, near ancient Eleftherna, is an old village known for its pottery production and possesses several Byzantine churches.

Ενταξει...δεν ειναι και τοσο τελειο χωριο οπως το περιγραφει ο φιλος μας.Εξαλου χωριο του ειναι..Τι να λενε τα αλλα χωρια που εχουν μεγαλυτερο υψομετρο??Τα Ανωγεια,τα ζωνιανα και τα λιβαδια??

Τι να πώ για το χωριό μου..

Η απαράμιλλη φυσική ομορφιά του,ο λαγκός του (φυσικό πάρκο του ψηλορείτη) με το ατελείωτο πράσινο, και τις φνταστικές του διαδρομές,οι βυζαντινές εκκλησιές του,η κεραμική του που ανθεί και πάλι όπως παλιά και τοσα ακόμα που δεν χωράνε σε λίγες γραμμές,του δίνουν τον τίτλο ενός απο τα ομορφότερα χωριά της Ελλαδας μας.
