Me and my family visited the Melidoni village and cave a year ago in April 2005. Our three children liked the narrow streets of the village and wanted to make more walking about. I liked the area because it was peacefull and far enough from the mass tourism. I actually liked it so much that I`ll come there again with my husband in October the 10th 2006. We are going to spend a whole day there at Melidoni area. I`m hoping to meet the charming " Mr public servant" He works in the ticket office of Melidoni Cave and we had great discussion about farming in Crete and in Finland. Greetings from two young finnish farmers to him and see you all soon.
