The village of Kritsa
The village of Kritsa
The village of Kritsa is 8km southwest of Agios Nikolaos.
When visiting Kritsa, park in the lot at the beginning of the village because the streets of the village are narrow and one-way and there is little room for parking.
The area near the village of Kritsa has many attractions to offer. It combines a traditional village setting with several Byzantine churches which rank among the best in the island.

We (my husband and I) love Crete and have been to Kritsa many times, and last time we visited decided to look at some property. We are now in the process of buying our own house in Kritsa, with the intention of living there eventually. We´ve just got to try and get to grips with the language now!!
