Vai is famous for its palm forest which is unique in Europe. It is located 25km north-east of Sitia, on the east coast of Crete.

The main entrance to the Vai beach is open from sunrise to sunset. The water is clear and beautiful and the setting romantic. There are many places for coffee and food. Because of the setting, the beaches tend to become overcrowded in the summer.
