Sougia is a small village on the south coast of Crete, between Paleochora and Agia Roumeli. It has a very long pebble beach with deep and crystal clear waters in front of mountains that drop abruptly to the sea, making the scenery fantastic and dramatic.
The east part of the beach is occupied by nudists. There are umbrellas and several cafes and tavernas above the west part of the beach and a small dock for the boats that travel along the south coast.
