Marmara is a small bay at the southern part of Crete in the prefecture of Chania. It is located at the exist of the Aradena Gorge and is about 1 hour from west of Loutro along the E4 hiking trail.
Although very small, it attracts a lot of visitors during the summer months, coming by foot along the E4 trail, exiting the Aradena Gorge or coming with private boats or taxi boats from Sfakia and Loutro.
