The Kazantzakis Museum is in the converted family home and is dedicated to the famous Cretan author, Nikos Kazantzakis. It features the works of Kazantzakis in eight languages as well as his original manuscripts. Costumes used in various productions and a short film presentation on Kazantzakis' life and works may also be seen.
The museum is located in the village of Myrtia, 15 km from Heraklion.
