The Natural History Museum of Crete in the city of Iraklion, owns and develops collections, does environmental research and shows Crete's and Mediterranean environmental distinctiveness.
Since 2007, the exhibitions of the museum have been transferred to a new building on the west coast of the city.

Open daily 08:30-15:300, Saturday & Sunday 10:00-16:00. General entrance 5 euros. Children: 3 euros.
