Diskouri Monastery is near Axos, Milopotamos, between the villages Livadia and Veni. It has not been in use since 1901. According to tradition, it was built at the time of the Emperor Konstantinos the Great in a location where there was an ancient temple of Dioskouri. The monastery was a centre of revolutionary activities against the Turks and was destroyed in 1821.
