The pithari of the Minoan farm in Mitropolis
Near Mitropoli in the location Kannia (1.5km) are the remains of a Minoan farmhouse of the New Palace and Postpalatial Periods. To find it, start from a small square about 700 metres from the beginning of the Lendas road, turn right towards a church with a red dome, pass the stream, and turn left following it. After about 100 metres turn right and at about 100 metres the roofed excavation will be in sight.
