This village may be reached by boat from Hora Sfakion and Agia Roumeli or by foot from Anopolis, Hora Sfakion, and Agia Roumeli. The footpaths appear deceptively short, especially in the heat of the summer. In addition, they may also be dangerous for inexperienced hikers. The boat trip from Hora Sfakion takes about 20 minutes.

den moy aresan oi polles xaplostres stin paralia.kathari thalasa, kai oreo fagito. idios to freskotato psari sta karvouna, stin taverna "limani". min pate ton aygoysto exei poli kosmo, k h paralia einai mikri.

A couple years ago I have walked in the surroundings with friends and colleques. Espescially the Aradena gap is beautifull. Walk the small roads where no cars can come; see only black vultures floating around the mountains and goats standing on them.



There is a nice hotel at the bay, Finix, east of Loutro for hikers and walkers. The small hotel is managed by 3 brothers and their hospitallity is great.
