Just south of Topolia, on the road Kissamos - Elafonissi, is the Cave of Agia Sofia with many stalactites and the little chapel of Agia Sofia. Ancient remains have been found in the cave dating as far back as the Neolithic era. The cave is reached from the road by climbing several stone stairs.
