Phone: 28220 23204

The restaurant "Kalivianí" has been open since 1996 in the protected traditional settlement bearing the same name.

GETTING THERE:
Leaving Kastéli in Kíssamos, you pass Kavonísi port and arrive at the municipality of Gramvoúsa. Take one of the numerous roads turning on your right, leading you to the settlement of "Kalivianí" where the tavern is located.

HIGHLIGHTS:
Apart from the tavern, five guest houses are to be found in the same agrotouristic unit built in harmony with the local architectural style. The panoramic view of Kíssamos bay is a real feast for the eyes.

The cuisine is bursting of Cretan flavours and delicacies, all made with local high quality olive oil. Olive oil has been used since the tavern opened, even before it became a member of the "Eleogefsíes" network. If you are interested in purchasing olive oil and other related products, do not forget to take a look at the "olive corner" inside the restaurant.

DO NOT MISS OUT ON:
Kíssamos style bouréki, green beans, zucchini blossoms, seasonal vegetables and fruit, rabbit in lemon sauce, roast kid a la Gramvoússa, oven-cooked lamb, a variety of casserole dishes, as well as Cretan pastry filled with greens or onions, spinach balls, appetisers and local wine.

SIGHTSEEING:
The tavern or hotel guests can visit the magnificent Falássarna beach, only 6km away, as well as the archaeological site of Falássarna or take a day tour, either by car or ferry, to exotic Bálos, the westernmost beach of the prefecture of Hania, at the tip of Gramvoúsa cape. The amazing sand beach of Elafoníssi that stretches further to the south is also a must.
The area is ideal for excursions to the surrounding seaside and mountain villages.

CONTACT DETAILS: The tavern is open daily from March until mid October.
