Having lived in Episkopi as an English guest of the village 1981-83,2000-2003 and visited there a number of times during the years between,I recommend a visit to this historical site, which has an interesting history.During my first stay, the interior whitewashed dome and walls were flaking and exposed what seemed to be artwork.Over subsequent visits there, these artworks have been gradually exposed professionally and with limited funding to show amazing paintings of historical importance.Although I now live in Finland,I hope one day to return to this beautiful santuary Episkopi and view the Rotunda in it´s former glory.
