I was astonished to find out that in the area there were hundreds of chained dogs near cliffs with NO food or water, sometimes with raw bowels for them to eat. Also I was more surprised when I was told that a few days ago members of an animal protection association where in danger for their lives by villagers who chased them out from the village in their trucks!I am never going back to that place me and anyone that I know until we know that something is done about the suffering dogs in the area.I cannot believe things like that happen in Crete in 2009!
