Praisos and St. Spyridonas villages are two of the few, picturesque and folklor, villages left

in Greece.

High up on the mountain side, with an exeptional view of mountain sides and olive trees, a number of old stone builted churches and monuments, those villages with the fiew residents that left to them, are still alive!!!

At those two villages you can enjoy the genuine greek hospitality, the authentic taste of the mediterranean cretan cuisine accompanied with Cretes´ local drink, Raki.

Furthermore, you can visit the ancient Praisos and learn more about the greek history and customs.

For all the above reasons, I believe that if you visit Crete, Praisos is a village you should go to find out the genuine cretan lifestyle!

Penny.
