The south coast of Crete from the village of Hora Sfakion to Loutro
The road from Chania through Imbros continues south to Chora Sfakion and you begin the spectacular descent to the Libyan Sea. There are several places where you can safely stop for photographs. On a clear day you can see the southern-most islands of Greece (and of Europe), Gavdos and Gavdopoula.
In the upper neighbourhood of Hora Sfakion, Tholos, there is also a fine bird's eye view of the village and the coastline up to Loutro.
