An Upper Court is evident as you enter the site and from it, on the right, a narrow staircase descends into the East Wing. This complex of rooms opening to the east had gypsum stairs, walls flanked by benches, and gypsum floors with matching dado. All these features indicate that it was possibly an important reception area. There is also evidence of a later period drainage system jutting from a wall.
