Description
For Palaiohora, the first ten days of August each year mean song contests and concerts on an open stage in the village. Although it's small, there's a pleasant party atmosphere throughout the village, so it's a good time to visit.
Palaiohora is the second biggest town of southern Crete, after Ierapetra.
The only way to reach Palaiohora is from Chania, a trip of 75 km of good asphalt road. Buses run from Chania.
