Kalamitsi Alexandrou is a quite small village 3 km from Vrises Apokoronou, 6 km from the all-blue beaches and the supreme night-life of Georgioupolis, while Vamos, the next larger town is just 5 km away. With only 85 habitants it's the perfect place for long walks in the nature. At the village's entrance the visitor meets the traditional and graphical Church of Saint George, on his way follows the big church of the village, the Holly Triad, which remains there from the time of the Venice domination. At the village's square someone can find the well from which the habitants still draw water and the monument of the rebellion Alifierakis, who was hanged on these same platens with his comrades by the Turks. Following the main road someone also meets the non-running school of the village, which is now restored after its burn during the Turks domination.
