There are two thirteenth century Byzantine churches with wall paintings in the area. As you enter the village from the west, just before the entrance, the two churches are pleasantly located to the south, below the road. They are Agios Ioannis and the Panagia. The frescoes in these two churches date from the fourteenth century. Ask for the keys in the taverna of Agios Ioannis.
