The Byzantine church of the Panagia Limniotisa is located in the area of Kefala, 1.5km from Episkopi, and contains frescoes from the eleventh century. The single-aisled church has blind arches on the side of the church with brick decorations, some frescoes, and a (collapsed) dome. A window in the middle section has a column in the middle. To reach the Panagia Limniotisa you can follow the signs to Agios Georgios starting from the south entrance to the village, but at the second sign that points to the soccer field (Gymnasium) and Agios Georgios, you do NOT turn right but continue straight on. After a few minutes on the same road, the Panagia Limniotisa becomes visible in the distance to the right. At 900 metres from the sign there is a T junction. Take the right branch. After (700m) turn right. The Panagia Limniotisa will be on your left hand side but is not visible unless you look back. A footpath to the left at 400 metres after the turn leads to the church.
