The village of Sternes contains the Byzantine church of Agii Pandes. At the fork in the road leading down to Marathi, there is a large Venetian structure on the right. On the east side of it are the remains of Agii Pandes Church. It had cruciform architecture with a dome. On the floor of the church there is an old tomb decorated with vine leaves.
