Continue on this small road past the church and then go inland. After a 20-minute drive you will see the gorge of Arvi in the distance. Further along the same road is the monastery of Agios Antonios. It has a newer church and an older one in need of repair. The monastery is relatively new, dating from 1880, but it is believed that it has been built on top of the temple of Arvian Zeus.
