The Queen's Megaron, Festos

Immediately to the north of the North Court is the Queen's Megaron. This beautiful room, similar to the one in Knossos, had a dado of alabaster slabs which matched the floor, above which were frescoes. The central lightwell was flanked on its east and west sides by two columns.
