Lodging list in Harbour of Paleochora

There is a harbour below the Venetian castle ruins on the end of the peninsula. There is a small island southwest of the harbour entrance. There is a sports/fishing harbour within the larger one. There are boats from Paleohora to Sougia, Agia Roumeli and Hora Sfakion daily and locally organized boat cruises to the island-beach of Elafonisi. One can visit Greece's most southern island of Gavdos by boat from Paleochora.
