A fresco by Ioannis Pagomenos in Agios Georgios Church, Komitades
Below the village and reached by a path that starts from the central square, stands the small Byzantine church of Agios Georgios which has frescoes by Ioannis Pagomenos of 1314 (See Maza). One of the pictures shows the kneeling donors of the church. To go to the church follow the path behind the wall of the main village church directly down. A few minutes later the path bends to the left through a break in the wall. The path continues downhill beside a stone wall. The church will appear on your left hand side.
