In the village of Sarakina there is the church of Michael Archangelos which contains frescoes of good quality from the fourteenth century. The church is before you reach the village, on a path to the right which crosses a stream, and ascends to the church (100m). On the main road there is a sign (right) to the church but it is difficult to see it when you approach the village from Paleochora. The keys to the church are kept in the coffee shop of the village.
