On the south entrance to the village there is a dirt road left (signposted) to Kaloidena Monastery and the Byzantine church of Sotiras Christos. The road, passes an intersection and continues up. The old monastery is in an enchanting location with tall trees, water, and an excellent view of Mount Psiloritis on the opposite side of the Amari Valley.
